Completing a compliance activity

You can complete compliance activities that are displayed in your activities list.

Before you begin

Depending on how your system administrator customized your system, you might not have access to this task. To get access to this task, or to have someone complete this task for you, contact your system administrator.

About this task

If the compliance activity is assigned to a group of users to which you belong, and the activity is locked by another user, you can only view the activity.

To complete a compliance activity, complete these steps:

Procedure

  1. From the Identity Manager Home page, click Approve and Review Requests on the My Activities page.
  2. On the Approve and Review Requests page, click the name of the compliance activity that you want to complete.
  3. On the Review Request page, select your review action.
    • If the compliance alert is associated with an access or account that the user is not allowed to own, select Delete access/account now, type an explanation or justification in the Reviewer Comments field, and then click OK.
    • If the compliance alert is associated with an access or account that the user is allowed to own, but one or more attributes are noncompliant, select Update access/account now, type an explanation or justification in the Reviewer Comments field and click OK.
    • To extend the due date of the compliance alert, select Extend due date, click on the calendar icon to select a date, type an explanation or justification in the Reviewer Comments field, and then click OK.
  4. On the Response Submitted or Due Date Extended page, review that you have completed or extended the date of the activity. Click on the links on the Related Tasks section to review other requests or return to the Identity Manager Home page.
